Simultaneous 5-axis vertical machining centres

COMPACT 5A ALL PLUS

• High load capacity on worktable with frontal access and overhead crane access
• Movable worktable combined with integrated rotary table and tilting head allowing universal machining of 5-axis complex workpieces in one positioning only
• 550-mm rotary table for machining a cylinder having a diameter of 750 mm and a distance from table surface of 460 mm
• Thermal stability and vibration damping under extreme cutting conditions thanks to the remarkable rigidity of the monolithic bed and to the thermosymmetrical axis slideways
• Motorspindles equipped with internal cooling system to assure long life and reliability as well as a stable performance
• Multiplied tool magazine capacity thanks to the Sigma Tool Check electronic device
• Preparation of tools in masked time, remarkable reduction of the risk of tool/workpiece collision, minimized maintenance costs
• Large working area with an extreme freedom of movement of the tool even in undercut operations thanks to B-axis rotation of + 110°
• Versatility in use of a removable worktable allowing undercut operations and a rotary table on a single machine to simplify 3- and 5- axis machining of large-sized components
• Dynamics adjustment of the axes to significantly reduce cycle time and minimize the wear of mechanical components without affecting workpiece finishing and quality
