LinX is the most complete family of high-performance linear motor milling centres available on the market.
It is certainly one of the most technologically advanced products recently developed in medium/large size machine tool field.
Its innovative technological content - based on the use of linear motors on main axes - marked a generation step forward in very high-speed milling.
It includes five different versions of the base model, i.e. Compact, Design, Duo, Millturn and LinX O, and a series of different functional models targeted on the needs of each specific market. The use of linear motors on all axes combined with high-rigidity structures allows high performances in terms of speed and acceleration, reduces drastically production times, ensures very high accuracy and finishing quality, guarantees reduced maintenance thanks to the elimination of wearing mechanical components, improves working environment quality for its silent functioning. The machines are equipped with a complete work area enclosure according to the most modern environmental protection regulations. The outstanding performance combined with a complete range of equipments and accessories allow LinX milling machines to fulfil complex applications.
With LinX, production times can be reduced by up to 40%, for design and prototyping in the automotive, moulds and dies, aeronautical, energy and aerospace engine fields.

The very high-performance vertical milling machine LinX Compact is the first model in the LinX family and is definitely one of the most innovative products presented on the market in recent years. LinX Compact has gained a top-spot position thanks to its advanced technological content – based on the use of linear motors on middle-large size machines.
