Tarkus milling centres have been specifically conceived to perform the 5-axis high-power and high-torque machining operations on very tough materials: such as titanium, stainless and special steel, alloy steel.
They present an exclusive architecture with fixed gantry in X-axis and mobile crossbeam in Z-axis (Jobs patent). This solution grants a constant rigidity all along Z stroke. The architecture of Y-axis saddle, combined with the heads’ geometry, allows to reach the part to be machined in depth without risking collision with crossbeam.
With a medium-large working envelope, Tarkus products can be easily customized to meet end user’s specific needs.

Reliability and accuracy

Innovative H-V structure (horizontal-vertical structure, Jobs patent): - freedom to rough the part with the spindle axis horizontal and finish with the spindle axis vertical; - constant stiffness throughout the whole operating volume; - minimum distance crossbeam-table: 950mm. Very high rigidity and accuracy
